Lauren Shoes began with a couple who could not walk past a shoe store. From the beginning of their relationship they shared the same habit — trying on new pairs, and noticing how much a good shoe changes the way a person walks, dresses, and carries herself.
That turned into a simple standard we still hold: a shoe has to look right and feel right, or it does not ship. Every pair we sell is built on a cushioned footbed, a stable heel, and a sole that grips — because elegance you have to take off at 3pm is not elegance.
